Disney Shares Holiday Details, Including the Return of Jollywood Nights

Tomorrow marks the midway point to Christmas, and Disney is using the opportunity to share holiday news. Jollywood Nights is returning, as are all of your favorite holiday events.

Maybe it’s because I just completed a scorching morning walk with my dog, but I’m not feeling very festive. But the AC and ceiling fan feel pretty good, so maybe I’ll get there.

Walt Disney World

Jollywood Nights

Disney announced that Jollywood Nights will return in 2024. This paid event didn’t have the best debut last year, but it improved throughout its run. Disney didn’t provide any details about year two’s offering.

Holiday shows like What’s This? Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along, Disney Holidays in Hollywood, and Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! will be returning. The Holiday Fiesta en la Calle is being moved to the Animation Courtyard. The Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club and Jazzy Holidays at the Hollywood Brown Derby will also be coming back. Finally, Hollywood Boulevard will be transformed several times a night as international champion skaters perform in an “awe-inspiring twist on the traditional ice show.”

Guests will be able to meet some iconic characters, including Phineas and Ferb, Santa Duffy, Santa Stitch, Bo Peep, Lotso,  Baloo, and King Louie from TaleSpin. PhotoPass digital downloads are included in the price of the event.

2024 Jollywood Nights dates:

Unlike Jollywood Nights, there was little doubt Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party would be returning to the Magic Kingdom. And with it comes all your favorite party entertainment like Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, and Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration castle stage show.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party runs from 7 PM to 12 AM on the following dates:

Onboard winter activities include Mickey and Minnie’s Holiday Party, a tree-lighting ceremony, and carol singing. All the characters will be wearing their holiday best, as well.

I joke about not feeling festive in June, but Disney is doing the right thing with these announcements. People plan their Disney vacations months in advance, so this is good information for them to have. If Costco can put out Christmas displays in August, Disney can share holiday news in June.
