Disney Shares First Look Inside the Updated Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
Disney just dropped a fresh batch of photos and video from inside Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. Tomorrowland’s interactive space shooter reopens April 8 with new blasters, upgraded targets, and bigger high scores. Cast Member previews are already underway, so we should be seeing a lot more from Buzz and Zurg soon.
We’ve been tracking this refurbishment pretty closely, so instead of rehashing every detail, here’s how Disney is framing the updates:
“Star Command’s top minds have added a series of enhancements, including handheld blasters for more freedom of movement, additional interactive targets, scores that go lightyears beyond what you can imagine, and Buddy—our newest crew member!”
The handheld blasters alone feel like a game-changer. I might actually know what I’m doing next time instead of wildly firing into the void and hoping for the best.
