Disney Celebrates The Beak and Barrel Opening with Cast Members and a Treasure Map

The Beak and Barrel opened this morning at Magic Kingdom, and early reviews are glowing. Media and influencers are praising the Pirates of the Caribbean-themed tavern, and I have a feeling most guests will agree. The bar’s immersive theming looks like a home run.

To mark the opening, Jeff Vahle, President of Walt Disney World, shared photos of the ribbon-cutting ceremony and the team of Cast Members, along with this message:

“Ahoy! Three cheers for the opening crew of The Beak and Barrel! We are so proud of the teams who helped create an incredible immersive experience fit for a pirate. Congratulations, and thank you to everyone who had a hand (…or hook) in this fun addition to Adventureland!”

Disney also shared a treasure map to help new Pirates find their way around the tavern. Here’s their social media post:

“The Beak and Barrel is officially open and more than a few buried treasures await behind its doors. Use this map to track down hidden details around the tavern, and tag your fellow treasure hunters below to join you on your voyage!”
