Disney Casting Call Reveals Details and Timeline for Bluey Experience at Animal Kingdom

A Disney Live Entertainment casting call is offering our clearest look yet at how the upcoming Bluey and Bingo experience at Conservation Station will work. It’s shaping up to be far more involved than a standard character meet-and-greet.

The casting notice calls for “high-energy actors” who can host large groups, improvise, and lead interactive games with children. That alone suggests something closer to a guided activity or mini-show than a quick photo op.

That idea is reinforced by the audition monologue performers are required to deliver. Actors will portray members of the P.A.C.K. team (Playful Animal Crew for Kids), welcoming guests, asking call-and-response questions, and leading short, animal-inspired games. Warmups and audience participation are also referenced. In other words, this is designed as a hosted experience, not a line you shuffle through.

All of that lines up with the electrical permits recently filed for Conservation Station, which already hinted that Disney was preparing the space for something more complex than a backdrop and a character handler.

The casting notice also gives us a strong clue about timing. Rehearsals are scheduled to begin in early May, meaning Bluey and Bingo could debut later that month or in early June. Officially, Disney has only said the experience will open this summer.

Taken together, the casting call and infrastructure upgrades paint a pretty clear picture: Bluey and Bingo aren’t just stopping by Conservation Station. They’re anchoring a fully interactive, hosted experience built for movement and noise (the good kind). You know, letting kids blow off steam in between standing in long lines. Animal Kingdom may be getting one of its most engaging kid-centric offerings in years. And that’s a very good thing.
