Crush Annual Passholder Magnet Available at Animal Kingdom on August 7
Disney teased a new Annual Passholder magnet last week. While it was clear that we were getting a Finding Nemo character, I picked the wrong one. It’s not Dory. Instead, Crush gets the spotlight. Here’s the announcement from Disney:
“Pick up a new, totally tubular Passholder magnet and celebrate a super visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park!”
Magnets are typically handed out at EPCOT’s Creations Shop, but this time Disney chose Animal Kingdom instead. The move makes sense. Dinoland U.S.A. is in the middle of a phased closure, and It’s Tough to Be a Bug! has been shuttered since March. Perks like Passholder magnets are an easy way to draw more guests to Disney World’s least-visited park.
Annual Passholders can pick up their magnet at the Discovery Trading Company & Riverside Depot from August 7 through September 27. They’ll need to provide proof of AP status (valid Annual Pass card, linked MagicBand, MagicBand+, or Disney MagicMobile pass) and a government-issued photo ID.
