Coco Attraction to Break Ground Near Pixar Pier This Fall

Disney California Adventure is set to break ground on a brand-new Coco-themed attraction later this year. The ride will be located near Paradise Gardens Park and Pixar Pier. And unlike the new Avatar experience, this attraction will be built in an area that is currently backstage.

One of Pixar’s most beautiful films, Coco should be a welcome addition to California Adventure. Previous concept renderings show guests enjoying a boat ride through the film’s colorful Land of the Dead.

The latest rendering shows the Casa Museo de la Familia situated in the shadow of the Incredicoaster. Construction on the Coco-themed attraction begins this fall.
