Christmas at Disney’s Hollywood Studios: Vintage Holiday Decor and Festive Magic
Walt Disney World’s winter wardrobe is no longer in storage. Christmas has arrived! As a local photographer, these seasonal transformations are such a welcome treat. So grab your coat, your camera, and join me for a closer look as we enjoy some Hollywood glam.

Members of the academy, welcome to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Our first stop is full of charm and vintage decor reminiscent of my childhood. At first glance, the glitz and glamour of Hollywood’s golden age are proudly on display.
Silver wreaths. Sparkling baubles. Shining stars.
Look a little closer, and you’ll find a familiar Christmas. A holiday filled with Santa, snowmen, elves, and snowflakes lining the streets. Even Echo Lake’s permanent resident can’t resist joining in the festivities.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios truly shines after dark. The warm glow of Christmas lights feels cozy and familiar. At home, we even choose our own holiday decor with this park in mind.
A seamless blend of decor and impressive lighting displays makes this park’s Christmas a personal favorite of mine.

Jollywood Nights is one of Walt Disney World’s newest seasonal events, and its popularity has grown rapidly since debuting in 2023. I was present for a few minutes of opening night as a day guest on November 8. As I was leaving the park, I was able to capture a few party-exclusive overlays and props.

My first glance at the event was unforgettable. I watched as partygoers slowly took over the park. T-shirts and sandals gave way to glittery suits and white gloves. Fresh cologne replaced the lingering scents of sunscreen.

I loved every moment. The excitement was contagious, and I’m sick. As if I needed another reason to go, my sneak peek convinced me completely. I must attend!
Thank you for reading and allowing me to share a few of my photos and impressions. I’m excited to share more in the future. For now, I’ll leave you just as Santa would…
Ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas!
