Alcohol Permit Posted for Universal Kids Resort Hotel

A public notice posted outside the Universal Kids Resort Hotel shows that a Mixed Beverage Permit has been filed for the property. The applicant listed is TexBev Services, LLC, a Texas company specializing in alcohol logistics.

A mixed beverage permit allows the holder to “sell, offer for sale, and possess mixed beverages, including distilled spirits, for consumption on the licensed premises.”

The address on the filing corresponds to the hotel rather than the theme park itself. That’s notable but not surprising. Universal has previously said the hotel will feature a full-service bar, so paperwork confirming alcohol service was expected.

What isn’t clear is whether similar adult beverages are planned for the park’s restaurants. We’ve asked Universal for additional details. We’ll update this story if we learn more.
